Manifold Heads

Aquamor manifold heads across the BGC, BGE, BGM, and BGX families, one to four cartridges in parallel, with a polish-stage cartridge available in series behind the parallel bank. Most families run on threaded NPT ports; the BGC line also offers Quick Connect bracket-mounted assemblies. Connections run 3/8 inch, 3/4 inch, and 1 inch.

Two Flow Patterns

Parallel banks, with an optional series polish stage, across four families

Every Aquamor manifold head starts with a parallel bank: one inlet splits evenly across one to four cartridges, and the outlets rejoin into a single line. Some configurations add a polish stage, one additional cartridge in series after the parallel bank, for a final pass before the water leaves the manifold. A bank with only one cartridge in the parallel position, feeding a polish stage, is simply two cartridges in series, the same idea at its smallest size.

Four families: BGC, BGE, BGM, and BGX, the same eight core configurations, single through quad plus the polish-stage variants, available across all four.
Single, Twin, Triple, or Quad, one to four cartridges in parallel, sharing one inlet and one outlet.
1+1, 2+1, 3+1, or 4+1, the same parallel bank sizes, plus one additional cartridge in series as a polish stage.
Threaded NPT heads or Quick Connect brackets, most families mount as a threaded head; the BGC line also offers bracket-mounted assemblies on Quick Connect fittings for tool-free cartridge service.

Single

One cartridge, all the water

A single-head manifold routes all incoming water through one cartridge before it leaves the manifold. There is nothing to split and nothing downstream for the water to pass through again: the cartridge installed is doing the entire job. It is the simplest arrangement in this lineup, and the most straightforward to service because there is only one cartridge to track and change.

Twin

Two cartridges sharing the load, in parallel

A twin manifold splits incoming water across two cartridges running side by side, then recombines the two streams on the outlet side. Each cartridge only treats its own share of the flow. Splitting the load this way raises the combined flow rate the manifold can support and stretches the combined capacity before either cartridge is due for a changeout, while the level of filtration each gallon receives stays the same as a single cartridge would provide.

Triple

Three cartridges in parallel, higher combined flow

A triple manifold splits incoming water across three cartridges running side by side and brings the three streams back together on the outlet. Each cartridge only carries a third of the total flow, so the bank as a whole supports more combined volume and more combined capacity before a changeout than a single cartridge could. The filtration each gallon receives does not change; what changes is how much water the manifold can move.

Quad

Four cartridges in parallel, the largest bank

A quad manifold divides incoming water across four cartridges running side by side and recombines the four streams on the outlet. Splitting the load four ways is how this family supports its highest combined flow rate and its longest combined capacity before any cartridge needs changing. Each gallon still only passes through one cartridge; the four positions exist to carry more total volume.

1+1

One cartridge, then a second in series to polish

In a 1+1 manifold, all the water passes through the first cartridge, then every drop of that same water passes through a second cartridge downstream before it leaves the manifold. Nothing is split: the two cartridges are in series, so the second one is a polish stage that adds a further treatment step rather than added flow capacity. It is a way to layer two different jobs, for example a sediment stage ahead of a taste-and-odor stage, onto one water stream.

Two cartridges in parallel, then a polish stage

A 2+1 manifold pairs a two-cartridge parallel bank with one more cartridge in series downstream. The parallel pair splits the incoming water and supports higher combined flow and capacity; the water then recombines and every gallon passes through the third cartridge as a final polish step. One manifold delivers both added flow support and an additional treatment stage.

Three cartridges in parallel, then a polish stage

A 3+1 manifold splits incoming water across three cartridges running side by side, recombines the flow, then runs every gallon through a fourth cartridge in series. The three-cartridge bank carries the flow rate and capacity; the fourth cartridge downstream is a polish stage the whole recombined stream passes through once, adding a treatment step rather than more volume.

4+1

Four cartridges in parallel, then a polish stage

A 4+1 manifold is the largest configuration in this family: four cartridges run side by side to carry the flow, and a fifth cartridge sits downstream in series, treating the full recombined stream one more time before it leaves the manifold. The parallel bank gives the manifold its flow rate and capacity; the fifth position is a dedicated final stage every gallon passes through.

BGC Family

Bracket-mounted assemblies, Quick Connect

Alongside the threaded BGC manifold heads above, the BGC line also includes bracket-mounted assemblies on Quick Connect fittings for wall or under-counter installs where tool-free cartridge connections are preferred. These come in both series and parallel flow, single cartridge through triple.

Single, Quick Connect

105021 BGC Single Bracket Assembly, 3/8 in Quick Connect, Fittings and Gauge

The 105021 is a single-cartridge BGC bracket assembly on 3/8 inch Quick Connect fittings rather than threaded NPT, with a pressure gauge included. It is built for installations where a wall or under-counter bracket mount and tool-free cartridge connections are preferred over a threaded head. As a single-cartridge build, all incoming water passes through the one cartridge, the same as the threaded 105003.
