Application

BGC 4+1 Manifold, 3/4 in NPT + 1/2 in Barb, Rinse Valve and Pressure Gauge

The 105017 adds a fifth, series-mounted polish cartridge downstream of the four-cartridge parallel bank used on the 105015, on the same 3/4 inch NPT plus 1/2 inch barb connection with rinse valve and pressure gauge standard. It is the top of the BGC threaded-head line, for sites that need both maximum flow support and a dedicated final treatment stage.

Four cartridges in parallel, then a polish stage

BGC 4+1 flow pathWater enters a single inlet line and divides at a distribution header into 4 equal branches, one for each of 4 filter cartridges arranged in parallel. The 4 branches rejoin at a collection header into a single line, and all of that combined flow then passes through one additional cartridge in series, a final polish stage, before reaching the outlet. A 4+1 manifold is the largest configuration in this family: four cartridges run side by side to carry the flow, and a fifth cartridge sits downstream in series, treating the full recombined stream one more time before it leaves the manifold. The parallel bank gives the manifold its flow rate and capacity; the fifth position is a dedicated final stage every gallon passes through.

Typical application. The highest-draw sites that also require a dedicated final treatment stage on the entire flow.
