Thank you for choosing an Aquamor® UF System Controller. Designed and assembled in the USA, the controller is the command center of your Ultrafiltration (UF) System. It runs the flush valve on a schedule you set, so your UF membrane stays clean with no daily effort from you.
The controller is a low-voltage electronic timer. It connects to a power adapter and to one or two flush ball valves. On the schedule you program, it opens each valve for a set time to flush the membrane, then closes it again.
This manual covers the controller only. It walks you through four tasks, in order:
The first three connection steps are done once, at install. Programming and manual flushing are things you can do any time. Each step is labeled so you know whether it is an install task or an everyday task. Please read this manual completely before installing or operating the controller, and retain it for future reference.

Read all instructions before use. Save these instructions. The UF Controller runs on household power and is installed next to plumbing. Read these safety messages before you connect or operate it. They appear again, in shorter form, at the exact step where each hazard applies.
Electric shock. Mains voltage is present at the power adapter and its cord. Contact can cause serious injury or death. Connect the adapter only to a properly grounded outlet. Do not use a damaged cord or plug.
Water and electricity. This controller is used near plumbing. If the adapter, cord, or plug touches water, you can get a shock. Keep the adapter, cord, and plug dry and off the floor. Do not immerse them. Mount the controller above any place water could spray or pool.
Ground-fault protection. A ground fault near water can cause electric shock. Aquamor recommends plugging the adapter into a GFCI-protected outlet and testing the GFCI per its instructions.
Cord routing. A cord run near hot surfaces or pinch points can be damaged, leading to shock or fire. Route the cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges. Do not pinch it under the bracket or in a cabinet door.

The Aquamor UF Controller works with both a single-stage UF System and a two-stage UF System. The controller has six ports. Three of them are used during a normal install:
Connect the power supply to Port 1, the far-left port, and nowhere else. Ports 2 and 3, the two ports just to the right of the power port, have the same two-hole size and shape as the power port but are not power inputs. They are reserved for a future pressure connection.
Applying power to Port 2 or Port 3 will burn out the control board and permanently destroy the controller. Before plugging in, confirm the power harness is seated in the far-left port.
Take the included power supply with harness, and with the tab facing up as shown, insert the plug into the left-most port of the controller.
Take the flush ball valve with harness, and with the locking tab facing up as shown, insert the harness into the UF #1 Port.
Your controller should look like this when the power and UF #1 port have been properly installed.
To enter programming mode:
The screen enters programming mode, as shown below.
Set the start time of day for the UF to flush.
The first line to program is the Start Time: when the first flush takes place in a 24-hour period. Press the "Right Arrow Button" to align the cursor under the digit you want to change, then use the up/down arrows to change it. Below, the first flush is set for 3:00 am.
Flush duration is how long the flush ball valve stays open during a flush. Press the Right Arrow Button again to move the cursor to Flush Duration. Duration is set in 5-second steps, from 5 to 60 seconds. The default is 15 seconds. On a 15-second flush at 60 PSI water pressure, the valve will flush 4 gallons of water.
Flush Interval sets how many times the UF Membrane flushes within a 24-hour period:

We also offer 45-, 30-, and 15-minute options for excessively dirty water. Press the "Right Arrow Button" until the cursor is under Flush Interval, then use the up/down arrows to adjust.
Once the Flush Interval is set, set the current time on the Real Time Clock (RTC):

You can start a manual flush any time, apart from the programmed flush times. Press and hold the left and right arrows together for 5 seconds. The screen switches from the time-of-day display to the programming screen. When the flush finishes, the screen returns to the time-of-day display on its own.
If the controller does not behave as expected, find the symptom below and try the action. When a row says to disconnect power and contact Customer Service, stop and do that before going further.

Aquamor, LLC warrants the UF System Controller to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment, subject to proper installation, operation within the ratings stated in Controller Specifications, and use for its intended purpose. This warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, or operation outside the ratings and conditions described in this manual.
